Drinagh Rangers under 18s are set to face Courtmacsherry in Canon Crowley Park on Saturday 21st of January. Last time around Drinagh came back from 4-3 down to edge past Courtmac on a final score of 5-4. Drinagh will be hoping to be victorious on Saturday and continue their charge at the top of the league table. 3 points on Saturday would see Drinagh maintain their 2 point lead at the top of table. Their closest rivals, Dunmanway Town are down to play one of the toughest and most important games of their campaign. They will travel to play Riverside away. Winning this game would keep Dunmanway snapping at the heels of Ritchie Collins’ Drinagh men, however it won’t be easy to challenge them in their current form.
Riverside have everything to gain and nothing to lose on Saturday. They currently sit in 3rd place, 6 points behind the leaders, but they have only 4 games played compared to Drinagh with 6. To challenge for the title they must beat Dunmanway on Saturday and then head to Canon Crowley park and take on Drinagh Rangers. This weeks fixtures are crucial to the title race and will affect the outcome of the league.
Tune in next week for the Results from Saturday and how they change things for the u18 Division 1 title race.
